| Ankle Chomper by 3tree Games |
An alt-ctrl game where you play as a feral kid with one goal: chomp those ankles. Everyone’s tall, but vulnerable. Weave through a forest of sky-high, lanky legs in search of the perfect ankle to bite. But watch your step—if you’re not quick, you might get stomped. To bite in-game, chomp a fleshy ankle controller IRL. Bib available for messy chompers. Our game requires players to physically bite the controller; however, we have taken sanitary precautions by providing dental dams to cover the bite surface area, allowing players to dispose of them after playing the game. Additionally, we have alcohol wipes to sanitize both the area and the controller itself. Setup: A team member will setup in the beginning of the day and deconstruct at the end of the day. We will have a team member stationed at the installation during prime hours. |

| Between by Claire Kwong |
Between is a game that uses projection to illuminate the space between two people. In the game, two players sit face to face. Their bodies create silhouettes which light up their skin. When they hold both sets of hands, they create a geometric shape in the space between their bodies. They must move this shape to fit outlines on the floor. Players end up moving their bodies together, creating a performance for the audience. The installation consists of a white surface (about 6 by 8 feet) and two cushions for players to sit on. A Kinect captures motion on the floor, and a projector projects video onto it. Both devices are mounted and connected to a laptop running OpenFrameworks. Setup instructions: https://clairekwong.com/portfolio/between-setup-instructions |

Free-play mode has two players hit the punching bag at the same time, simulating a boxing match, and whoever gets the most hits in 20 seconds wins.
A full tournament version that we'll also be applying to present as a panel or a tournament in the arcade includes fake money, betting, and downgrades within the fight rounds. Setup: The game can run for the majority of the con, but laptop and electronics will be locked up for the late night-early morning hours. It will not need a baby sitter but will be checked on regularly through the con if any material fixes/replacements are needed. |

| Bunny Beats by Studio Tapioca LLC |
Bunny Beats is a rhythm learning game that can be played by 1 or 2 players. You learn the rhythm of each bunny, and play them back on your controller. The rhythms are musically procedurally generated before each run, based on the selected difficulty and modifiers. Our game supports MIDI and generic joystick inputs so we like to run the table with input hardware that attendees usually don't have at home, like drum e-kits and Taiko drum controllers. The video included is our table from last year running a 2 Taiko Drum station. Not shown, we also ran a 2 Controllers station on the other half of our space. Setup: On a functional level, we will not be able to run it 24/7 but we will be present for the majority of the time (including prime hours), to run play sessions and daily tournaments. We have run the game and hardware for a long time in past events but some of the equipment like the drum controllers and laptops we would choose to keep with us when sleeping overnight. On a sanitation level, we try to routinely clean the headphones, drumsticks, and controllers with cleaning supplies we bring. The hand sanitizer is available to attendees but we try to do equipment wipedowns ourselves because the rubber drum diaphragms can be damaged by alcohol in sanitizer. So for the longevity of the drum controllers, we would not leave the setup unattended. |

High Rollers is a falling block puzzle game with an emphasis on chaining and its 2P Vs mode, similar to games like Puyo Puyo, Magical Drop and Dr. Mario. This game was featured in the 2025 MAGFest Indie Arcade with positive reception, and since then the game has had significant visual/audio improvements and the addition of new modes. 2P VS mode is the primary mode, but there are also 1P options such as Arcade mode against CPU opponents, timed score attack mode and mission mode. The game has 3 main ways to score and numerous advanced techniques so it has a dynamic chaining system that is easy to pick up and play but hard to master. The cabinet and game are hardened at this point and I am confident in it staying up and running throughout the event since it made it through the 2025 Indie Arcade and a couple of other conventions. |

| MAGFish by Matt Made A Thing |
The MAGFish Tank is a passive/interactive experience where attendees scan their badge to see a THEIR randomly (deterministically) generated fish, who will get up to hijinks over the event. THE GOAL: - Give people a reason to check in with a physical area (the indie arcade?) with some regular frequency - Act as a recommendation engine, randomly suggesting upcoming panels, places to go, things to do INSTALLATION: - Originally I was thinking this would be cool as a 2 monitor set up, the tank projected over a large area as ambient art and a smaller screen for the Fishctionary next to the scanner. It really can be very large or just on a 3' table. - It's deterministic, using badge ID as rng seed per fish, so in theory multiple installs could sync (might see if MAGTV wants somethin) REMAINING WORK: - This is v much a proof of concept, I have the rights to all assets but want to fully rework what fish look like. Every badge should have a .5% chance of spawning a to-scale blue whale. - Also I only have like 6 events in queue right now and want to have like 600 - Also I want to import Guidebook data for games/events/etc - It caps at 500 fish on screen but tbh it's low memory I think I can up to that 1-5k if I really wanted to, would depend on screen size |

| Managing by Studio Schmiel |
A game designed for an art exhibit played with one single giant USB button; our design guidelines were to try to create games with alternative and simple control schemes that non-gamers could understand intuitively in a gallery setting. The art gallery hosted a game jam with the premise that the resulting games would be shown in an exhibition afterwards with artifacts showing the process behind making them. Due to size constraints, the organizers decided to limit the exhibition to just games developed by teams but I decided to join in with this solo project for the love of making games in person with people. I would love the opportunity to share it here. In Managing, you control the blood pressure of someone going through a stressful situation, a job interview! The button controls the blood pressure of the interviewee, requiring rapid mashing as the interview goes off the rails, and slower presses as the interviewee recovers from the situation. The central thesis behind the game is that struggling to mash a button fast enough is inherently anxiety inducing in people and would cause them to connect with the anxiety of the character in the narrative in a very direct way. From observing people experiencing the game, that thesis has proven correct! |

The game has two modes: a competitive king of the hill mode, where you fight to be the last penguin standing and a two-player collaborative figure skating mode. | WindFLWR by Spiritsong Studios |
Play games with windchimes (the chimes need not make sound, but if they do, thats a bonus). In this game, you will fan two different wind chimes to play tennis with a mostly competent opponent. Make sure to create the wind on the correct side of the play space and you will keep the heat up on your opponent. Sneak enough hits across the line and you win the match - though your arm might tire out before then! | WindFLWR Video | Players: 1 Submission Type: Other small installation (3' or 6' categories, self-contained other than optional folding table) |
Stability is definitely a concern | |
| X-tinguish: Aim at Base of Fire by Xtinguish Games |
X-tinguish: Aim at Base of Fire is a lightgun arcade-styled game about stopping your house from burning down. The player wields our X-tinguish-r controller built out of a real (empty & disarmed) fire extinguisher to put out the fires within the game’s house. By aiming the controller’s nozzle towards the in-game fires and then squeezing the controller’s back trigger, you can spray foam out and extinguish the fires. Once all the fires in an area are out or the player runs out of time, they are moved to the next area to continue fighting the fire. If the player fails to put out all of the fires in time, or the house takes too much damage from the fire, the game is over. Each playthrough has a score calculated by the amount of time taken and fires extinguished, where correctly pointing at the base of a fire to extinguish it awards more points. The game is designed to be short and fast paced to encourage multiple playthroughs for better scores. | X-tinguish: Aim at Base of Fire Video | Players: 1 Submission Type: Monitor and your controller setup (to be set up on a table) |
